The Vestil SKID-20 plastic skid has a grid-shaped deck and fork openings on all four sides, can be used to support and transport goods, and can be lifted using a pallet truck or forklift truck (sold separately). The skid is made of polyethylene, which won’t splinter like wood can, may be wiped clean, and is resistant to dents and corrosion. I purchased this to keep items off the garage floor so when the wet and snowy cars come in things don’t get wet.This works well . Only downside is it it a little wide for what I bought it for, but we have adjusted.
Purchased six of these for our winery for stacking wine cases on. Unfortunately this skid bows when jacked up on a pallet jack causing the wine case stacks to lean outward. Not an ideal situation…. I would imagine this will work just fine for solid items but alot of stacked items I can’t recommend it. We also purchase two of the 8,000 pound skids that seem to hold up to the wine cases.
These are very well built. They are way better than some store or wood units they stack well for use later and are light enough that these pallets are easy to move around the shop. Some came in plastic some in cardboard. The ones wrapped in plastic were much easier to open and dispose of packaging.
